Since April 2018, I have been part of Rijppaert & Peeters Advocaten. My work primarily focuses on labour law, franchise law, and sports law. I prioritise a practical and effective approach to each case. Defining the goal together and working toward it with clear, mutual expectations—that, in my view, is the recipe for achieving the best results
Labour Law
In my daily practice, I primarily focus on dismissal cases, representing both employers and employees. My aim is to achieve a successful outcome and a satisfied client. Preferably without court proceedings, unless the case demands it and the stakes are high—in which case, I give it my all.
In addition to dismissal cases, I have specialised in matters related to non-compete and non-solicitation clauses, study cost agreements, and cross-border misconduct.
Franchise
I am also involved in commercial contracts, including franchise agreements. This includes drafting contracts, discussions about goodwill compensation, and the enforceability of non-compete clauses.
Sports law
In recent years, I have increasingly specialised in the legal field of my greatest passion: sports law. This encompasses a wide range of topics, including arbitration, disciplinary proceedings, and legal advisory work.
I regularly write articles on sports law, particularly focusing on football. Additionally, I am a member of the Association for Sport and Law.
The Yong Bar Association Zeeland-West-Brabant
In addition to my work at Rijppaert & Peeters, I served as chair of the Young Bar Association Zeeland-West-Brabant for two years. This association organises part of the professional training and advocates for the interests of trainee lawyers.
With enthusiasm and dedication, we achieve the best results together.
