Corporate Social Responsibility

For over 45 years, our firm has been at the heart of the Oosterhout community, both figuratively and literally. We take our social responsibility seriously, supporting the community in many ways. As an organization, we are also mindful of our responsibilities on regional, national, and international levels.

Community Engagement

We actively encourage and facilitate the community involvement of our employees. This enables them to take on additional roles in various social organizations. The majority of our team members are involved in one or more boards, ranging from social organizations to business associations, sports clubs, and foundations.

Sponsorship

Rijppaert & Peeters also provides financial support to local sports clubs, service organizations, and more. Through sponsorship, we aim to emphasize the societal value of such organizations and their contribution to the community.

Amref

On an international level, we support Amref Health Africa, an organization dedicated to building a healthy and resilient Africa. They train healthcare professionals in Africa, provide basic medical care, and raise awareness about health issues. Additionally, they work with African governments to ensure that healthcare improvements are sustainable.

Amref advocates for the rights of girls in Sub-Saharan Africa, addressing issues such as female genital mutilation, child marriages, and teenage pregnancies. They also focus on providing access to clean drinking water, as one in four people in the region currently lack it. Furthermore, they work tirelessly to improve healthcare systems and train local healthcare professionals.

History of Rijppaert & Peeters Advocaten

After completing his training at a law firm in Breda, Rob Rijppaert took a bold step in 1978 and opened his own practice in the heart of Oosterhout. Shortly thereafter, Chris Peeters joined him, and Rijppaert & Peeters Advocaten was born.

One a strategist, the other a legal expert through and through, but both always fighting for the best interests of their clients. Not litigating for the sake of it, but starting with a listening ear, sound advice, and a swift resolution. Only when that’s not possible do they proceed to litigation. And when they do, they excel.

This philosophy continues to define our firm to this day. Just a stone's throw from the location where the firm first began, and now also in Breda, we proudly uphold these principles with a team of nearly 20 attorneys, dedicated to serving our clients with the same commitment and excellence.
